ABOUT

About Naomi Jones

I have had an interest in photography from a fairly young age, owning my first camera at 10yrs old. It was always a part of my life, but became all consuming around 15 yrs ago, while living in New Zealand.

I am now very lucky to have the natural world as my workplace and studio, and love nothing more than being out in the countryside of the UK, either in wonder of the amazing light that can transform a landscape, or watching and waiting for the fascinating wildlife we have around us. It continues to teach me to see and appreciate what is easily ignored and learning to slow down is one of the most important lessons photography has taught me.

With the Peak District on my doorstep, the majority of my work is based there, but I enjoy exploring further afield just as much!

I hope that my work conveys the love I have for the natural world

I thoroughly enjoy running training days and workshops, allowing me to enthuse about the beauty of nature around us and help clients get the most out of their cameras.

“Great teacher, great value and highly recommended, wouldn’t hesitate booking more tuition once I’ve consolidated the learning from my ‘beginners’ session!”
